Sevs is worth more! Add to the pkg and ask for Kap
I like the Dillon add!
I think we take Rossi or Holtz at 7 myself
I think Woody is more valuable to us than a fourth

Liljegren could end up better than Severson, Leafs fans will tell you that.
Yup Dillon would be great
I'll take Raymond, Holtz, or Perfetti. went with Perfetti here cause I'm super high on him
I would ship him out for a pick or 2

I love the Palmieri signing - I think most assume he'll get shipped out, but I think he's a great veteran presence. I'd like to see him with a "C" at some point.

Is your roster here your expected lineup for the upcoming season? Humble opinion, I doubt Quinn, Perfetti, Thompson, Foote, or Bahl suit up in any significant capacity this year. I think this could be a representative roster 2 or 3 years down the road (assumes Goose is resigned).

I'm okay with trading him for some nice assets, also okay with keeping him around in a middle 9 role (provided the dollar value and term isn't too much). I think Nico is undoubtedly the next captain of this team in a year or 2, no reason to give it to Palms for one season. yeah this would be for the 21-22 season as stated at the top. more of just a future outlook more than anything.

Can people tell me whats the hype with Perfetti? From what I've seen, a large majority of his points are on the PP. I think 7 should be whoever falls between Rossi, raymond, or Drysdale (and if none of them do, Then we take Holtz)

not sure where you're getting that from, Perfetti actually scored 78 of his 111 points at even strength (62 of them primary). Rossi scored 82 of his 120 points at even strength (58 of them primary). Very similar, but Perfetti has a slight edge in this regard. This is also despite the fact that Marco Rossi is one of the oldest players in the draft class (missed the 2019 draft by 8 days) and played on one of the most stacked teams in all of the CHL. Did you also know that Rossi had the biggest discrepancy in his point production? That's right he scored the majority of his points against bottom half teams, 75% to be exact! 2.96 point per game rate against bottom OHL teams, 1.27 point per game rate against top OHL teams... Perfetti on the other hand was 2.04 point per game rate against bottom teams, 1.71 point per game rate against the top! On top of that, Perfetti's goal production actually went up against better competition. 0.5 goals /GP rate against bottom teams and a 0.69 goals /GP rate against the top teams. To me, Perfetti had a much more impressive season and it seems that way when you look beneath the surface. I also think he's a far more talented offensive player, the fact that he projects as a LW in the NHL is also beneficial to NJ who desperately need skilled wingers. Rossi is another undersized playmaking center, Devils have 2 of those. I'm taking Perfetti every day of the week and it isn't particularly close.

Perfetti also had the best Hlinka-Gretzky Tournament performance of all time scoring 12 points (8 goals!) in 5 games. For reference that is better than Mackinnon (11 points in 5 games), Jonathan Toews (8 points in 5 games), Taylor Hall (8 points in 4 games), Aho, Rantanen, Barzal, Crosby, the list goes on! All of those guys listed also only had 5 goals or less.

He's also tied for 7th in points per game for OHL draft eligibles in the last 10 years with Byfield, narrowly behind guys like Hall (1.86), Tkachuk (1.88), Marner (2.00).

That's where the hype is coming from! I would love to see the Devils end up drafting this kid, but if not I will gladly take Raymond or Holtz.

Thanks for the update on that, didn't realize it was most even strength. Honestly, when i saw him, he seems like a super skilled guy in Junior but always seemed to get knocked off the puck/lack of motor. Idk am I wrong on that? I like Rossi a little bit more because he's stronger in his lower body, and doesnt get knocked off the puck that often. Such a solid lower body. Rossi reminds me of Barzal and I think Rossi can play both wing and C. Perfetti doesnt seem physical or strong enough to play the wing and on the walls.

Also in terms of the Hlinka, I take that with a grain of salt (although thats super super impressive what he put up) I still get weary of a one tournament showcase. Points-wise...Absolutely hes a stud. But just for me personally, I'd prefer to take Rossi, Raymond, Drysdale or Holtz based on what I saw. I think their motors are better and they are much better skaters in my eyes.

But thank you for the Perfetti notes, didnt know that before!
