Zucker is gone...

No, a RHS/LHS center is a whole other argument than than a wing compared to a center. Wing is the least important and easiest position to fill. All prospects are hope and pray they turn out. I'll take my chances with the best center in the draft over the best wing for MN.

Hughes would go what 4th or 5th in this draft? Laf is better than Hughes, no arguments.

Sure Zucker is gone but we still have 2 right shot forwards on our entire roster and 1 of them is a 4th liner that doesn't score much anyways. I still think we need another top 9 righty. Agree to disagree about Laf/Byfield then. I'm also not convinced Byfield is the best center in the draft but that's a whole different conversation. Just my 2 cents after watching these guys

You do realize Byfield is one of the youngest players in the draft with his Aug b-day, and Laf is one of the oldest with his Oct b-day? I have Laf is better, but it's not that big of a gap between them. Rossi gets a boost from missing last year's draft by like a week too.

Lundell is the only other future NHL center I see in the top-10 range. Rossi, Perfetti, and Stuzule I see as wings (or should be wings) in the NHL.
