I really can't see KK playing C over Suzuki.
Suzuki was great in his rookie season. While he slowed down a bit down the stretch before the pause in play - it was well expected seeing as he went 154 games (not including development, rooking and training camps) in the span of a year and half with a little more than a month and half break in between. Now with 3 months rest and given the clutch performance he displayed in the OHL playoffs and Memorial Cup run, I doubt they put him on wing considering he played mostly C all season long.
I'm not doubting KK's abilities at C, but right now IMO, Suzuki has the upper hand - and if they're going into this to win - Suzuki is the best option as 3rd Line C.
I like the fact that you put in Weise on the 4th line. This guy bleeds habs blood and he's definitely what we need in any sort of playoff scenario. If anything, I'd like to probably see a 4th of Hudon, KK, Weise.

I agree Suzuki should be played at center but I expect KK to come back to camp and force CJ to play him at center. My gut says KK will come back with something to prove like when he went to the Rocket. That will force Domi back to the Suzuki's wing. Especially since adding the extra muscle displayed in the recent Instagram photo

Yes, I've seen the mass KK has added over the course of the last 3-4 months, and by all accounts, for a player of his size and the position this was absoloutely necessary.
The BIG question here is how will this impact his play on the ice (+/-?).
Unfortunately, most players who go through such a transition in body mass can't seem to apply it to their original game that got them drafted in the first place. It's extra weight and less mobility that a player seriously needs to compensate for in their game. If he can do it, then he'll be a monster for the Habs...but I don't think the playin series in the venue to have him showcase this. That is, if we're in it to win.

I agree with all of this but will also point out that he also started working with 2 skating coaches that helped Svechnikov improve his skating after being drafted hopefully this works with KK as well. I also think KK feels like he has something to prove and during the training camp will force CJ's hand

What a great comment. I too think Suzuki deserves to play C over KK, but I had a hard time putting KK on the 4th line, and at least this gives Zuke top 6 minutes.
Drouin, Domi Armia could be a very good 2nd line.
Then I guess Byron Zuke Leks on the 3rd at that point.

I think Weal should play over Weise. Weise has more experience but Weal is more likely to help the team.
