Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Tbh it looks like a lot, but feel free to shelve Lias deal for now or switch the Strome deal for a 1st or a 2nd + prospect, etc.

Only goals here are to
a) Swap Trouba for a comparable LHD
b) Swap Staal for a comparable 4C
c) Grab a defensive 3C
d) use Hank to pick up a serviceable 4th liner if there's no CBO's

specific deals aren't as relevant here as much as general value.

What genius Leaf fan thought it would be a good idea to trade our only decent 3C option for an LD that would be like 7th/8th on our depth chart at that position and a 3rd next year? I'm not questioning that someone did say yes to that, I'm just wondering what is wrong with them.

Where does Howden fit on the Canucks? They already have Pettersson, Horvat, Gaudette and Beagle down the middle. Canucks don't need anymore wingers/centers they have enough depth there already.

I think he's fine there yeah. can certainly take faceoffs and PK. In terms of "isn't a bad player" I mean just going by the numbers here: he's the 343rd out of 360 F's who have played at least 1000 mins in terms of WAR since he's been in Vancouver. And 353rd out of 360 F's in terms of xWAR. Simply put, he's one of the 10-20 worst F's in the league. Weeeeellllllll below replacement level. And all that's including his positive value on the PK.
