Should I not sign Greiss, keep Larsson and sign Elliott who's cheaper than Greiss?

So we are going to part with Mirco Mueller who was finally flashing a little potential in the thinnest position at LD in the league and get back a 3rd and a terrible LW. No thanks. I really liked Mueller's last 15-20 games and know it takes time to develop defenseman. Devils would be stupid to cut bait now considering they have absolutely nothing at LD for the time being until Smith or Bahl can prove themselves.

No keep Greiss, just don't sign Benning and don't trade Larsson.

Play Evan Bouchard instead

I like Larsson but don't think he's worth two 2nds as a UFA.

Most think he's ready now but will probably start the season in the AHL because Holland.

Honestly I think the team is better off without any of these moves.

Russell as a cap dump seems foolish to me because he is very versatile and might be a handy defender to have on the left side while bouch is finding his game. I’m not sure why bouch isn’t making this team. Think he’s proven enough to earn a shot and edm could use that ELC contract on the roster will another year in ahl really be worth burning a year of his ELC. JJ trade so be it if ya want him gone but he was good on pk. Id keep Larsson and first consider an extention but if bouch really stands out can just keep Larsson as a rental for playoff depth. Trade now I can see this team looking for exactly him come deadline and pay more for. All that being said makes jersey trade needless. All the signings I like except benning seeing as odd man out moving his rights.
