Everything and every source has said that it has an NHL out clause. So I'm very under the impression that it does

Everything works for me from the Sabres end but I suspect Vegas says no or at least Buffalo adds.

I debated adding a 2nd but Tuch had a horrible year, Johansson analytically was much better. So if they want to get away from that contract and improve immediately, while adding a player with finals experience, they may do it

if that's the case and he's willing to come back for next season then it's worth taking a chance on for sure.

Im pretty sure the KHL deal was signed to force a trade. He wants to play in the NHL, just another bridge burnt by Buffalo management

Maybe but they might not want to sell too low. Somehing goes back. At least a 3rd, 4th, or B prospect, I'd think.

yeah I don't envy that situation in Buffalo. I feel your pain though, Devils have been an embarrassing franchise for the better part of 10 years too.

Can't see Vegas just giving up on Tuch so quickly, also didn't they extend Roy for a couple years? If so this trade is even less likely to happen.
