Im just lower on Strome and Georgiev value than you i think. Lias isnt a cap dump, and i dont know if Strome fetches a 1 straight up and i think Rangers needs to slight add to get LaBanc for Georgie 1-1.

This is close to fair deal, Labanc and the first for a goalie you don’t need and a forward you can’t afford to sign is a huge plus for you guys and for San Jose.

It’s a fair deal. I just don’t think it helps the sharks enough. We need to pick up another top sixer, not trade one for another

The deal is fair but SJ declines. The more i think about it the more im less interested in Strome and Georgiev. I think our assets would be better utilized with other teams.

The lightning pick is a late one and they won’t trade him for anything else knowing what they got for skjei. If u wanna disagree on Georgiev for labanc straight up add like a 4th or 5th at the most

As a Sharks fan that watches every game initial reaction this deal seems like a win for the Sharks. Labanc is one of the biggest mysteries in the NHL. 2018/19 he was great, can see a ton of potential. 2019/20 he looked lost and was not a top 6 forward most nights. Don't watch much NYR hockey but had Strome and Georgiev on my fantasy team and they were terrific. Based off of these opinions seems like a win for the Sharks

Having said all of that, Sharks biggest need this off-season are wingers, specifically RW. Is Strome that big of an upgrade over Labanc? Seems like an even swap. Does it make sense to trade an in house RW option for strome who has bounced around the league? If this trade went through Strome would be on his 4th team in 5 years. Yikes. Also how does the expansion draft work if Georgiev came to Sharks? Do the Sharks expose Georgiev or Jones? Would be terrible PR if Jones was exposed and not picked by Seattle...
