Labanc is younger and NJ can lock him up for cheaper. Not to mention getting a nice pick.

I really dont see the point in the NJ trade. Im actually going to say its pretty bad for us. I think Palmeri would be a huge fit, but it would be a pure futures deal

Palms is the best player in the deal. By no means a 2nd rounder is a homerun. We still need vets to complete the locker room. Palms loves being in NJ which is rare. No way I go for this.

Sorry but Middleton is not an NHL level defenseman. Bergmann is not an NHL winger and Gregor is not ready to anchor an NHL line yet. This roster has seen little in the way of improvement.

- Also an overpay on Dadonov because I think he'd be more interested in a shorter term deal for more like 5-6 million.

- You can pay Greiss 250-750k less as well

Use the money that can be saved by not overpaying players to sign Marleau for the third line as well as Tim Heed for the 3RD pairing. Then you have a 23 man roster and a bit more cap room.
