Reasonable deal, but I think VAncouver passes. Can't afford the extra $1.1m. Too much for a 3rd pair LD. Need extra money for its own free agents.

Love it all just don't think trading Trouba makes sense. He can bounce back and be our top pairing minute eating defenseman on the right side with his offensive production and physicality. Shelter Fox as well as he develops.

If cap space is the issue, I'd be fine retaining 1.1 on Staal to make it cap neutral and dropping the 4th down to a 6th.
