Ghost to Philly could be worked out I’d imagine. Ratcliffe won’t be attached though and there’s less than zero chance we want Byron.

I don’t see name Suzuki in trade, the centers will be more important to us if we trade Jack.

Most people on here don't want Drouin, Domi or Kotkaniemi, most think Drouin has no value, Domi is overrated and KK is still to big of a ? That is why I went Tatar and Danualt. I would have rather sent Domi + Drouin + the rest of the package.

If Sakic wants to win in the next 2 - 4 years Petry is a Huge upgrade on the right side and would be a great partner and mentor for Byram. Plus the deal had Petry signed at 6 mil for 4 years so essentially the Avs get 5 years worth of Petry on a good contract with no trade protection.

I felt like this was a very fair offer Ratcliffe is still a ? as he has not even played an NHL game at 21 and will start to lose value quickly if he cannot crack a roster soon, He would have a better chance at cracking the Habs then the Flyers IMO. Byron is really underrated he has speed, a great shot selection and is good defensively, he is a solid 3rd line winger however the habs already have a ton of 3rd line wingers and I had to make the cap space work. Maybe it would be better to send Mete + Byron + 2nd for Ghost + Ratcliffe

Any deal for Eichel will have to include at least 2 top prospects, 2 middle prospects, along with picks. For MTL, that would probably look like Caufield, Kotkaniemi, Primeau, and Brook, along with 2 unprotected 1st round picks. May have to throw in Romanov to get it done.

Keep smoking your whacked out bong there big guy!!! Your not getting anywhere near that for Eichel. Why didn't you just ask for KK, Suzuki, Domi, Caufield, Romanov and 2 1sts basically the same crackpot ask

From a habs fan, you are just making us look like fools right now. 2UFA, 1 B+ prospect, 1 C prospect and a first is so far away from Eichel. Especially when you know Danault and Tatar will both get off this sinking boat a soon as their contract is done, wich gives Buffalo 1 year of them. The fact that you didnt even put the 2020 1st is laughable too. Even PS4 Buffalo doesnt do that, try it at medium difficulty pretty sure they reject. Any Eichel Trade will be a huge overpay, its the only way they even think about trading him. It will include almost the entire future of the other team or an already elite player capable of somehow replacing Eichel ++. In our case its at least 2x1st Pick, Suzuki, Primeau and one of our good Dman prospect

Like I said....Ghost to Montreal can be done but we aren’t adding Ratcliffe and we are NOT taking Byron. Try again.

Love how threads are browsed and not read! Tatar was a sign and trade the same was meant for Danault but I forgot he was a FA they couldn't go anywhere! The prospects your right one was a B+ 1 a C but there was also the unprotected 1st and the Hawks 2nd this year was also supposed to be there but got removed when I posted

They just wont agree to sign with Buffalo, this is already unrealistic, at least half of the league will be interested by these two. Both will be able to chose a better destination and benefit from the bidding war of July 1st.

That said, even if they agree, the offer is still unfair. Dont get me wrong, Im a huge fan of Danault and Tatar. But the first is a bonified 3C, with 2C abiltities in a non so deep center line team. I can think of at least 10 teams where he could not get top6 minutes (Pitt, Van, Edm, Stl, Bos, Tb, Tor, SJ, Wsh, Phi, Nsh) and we can probably argue about some others. Tatar is a great top6 winger but will be 30 when the new contract will be signed. Probably getting pay until 35-36, and he wont be better with the years. You're a GM, you take 5-6 years of 30 years old Tatar and 26 years old Danault avering 11M or 6 years of 23 years old Eichel avering 10M?

For the prospects, Harris and Hillis have potential to help an NHL team but the ceiling is pretty low with both players. Beeeeest case scenario they get a top4 and a top9. Realisticly, the chances are they dont even play 200 games combined.

With Eichel on our team, the 2021 Pick is most likely out of the top 10. And like in every draft, there is a lot of uncertity, especially outside the top 10 sometimes even the top 5. A 2nd rounder is a 2nd rounder.

So IF they resign, IF Harris and Hillis reach their potential, IF the pick is high and IF this player becomes a good one, this somehow gets even. Any GM would be crazy to risk and trade a young franchise center with terms for that much uncertity unless it comes with huuuge upsides, wich means top notch prospects and really high picks.

Habs were eliminated by NYR in 5-6 games. That brings us to April and Drouin was acquired in June....... Sounds like offseason to me
