Switch Nyquist 4 Anderson?

Horrible asset management. Drouin is considerably younger and if he plays how he did pre-injury I could see him becoming the better player soon. Wennberg is a cap dump with a bad contract and exits the contract as a UFA while Domi is an RFA this year.

Drouin=Nyquist
Wennberg+3rd= nothing

That leaves Domi who imo is worth 2 1sts, maybe more.

Dreaded Drouin era? hes 25 and is a 50+ player. Wennberg has been awful since his multiple injuries, he'sa questionable top 6 player at best

Value is close to that for Domi, I would say 2 mid/late firsts of a 1st and a decently high potential prospect

WOW! That's a weird trade value... with NO INTEREST from MTL

1st and high level prospect for domi? I don’t know seems like a high ask for a winger that wants to play centre and has one stand out season. Most recently 44 points in 70 games. I think he needs more consistency in his game to command a return like that.

With that package, I kind of don't care that Drouin's in it. We can take a flyer on him and see if he works out; folks have doubted Torts with some players before. Getting Domi for that is just a bit too nice for me to want to pass up.

Of course, I'd be rather surprised if Montreal found it acceptable. Has Drouin really made himself that unwelcome?
