Oh HELL no. Sandin is NHL ready, and has been DOMINANT in the AHL and already has NHL experience, while JBD is playing in the NCAA, a weak league. It is unknown whether or not he will make it at the AHL level.

The one Sandin trade I've seen that does intrest me however is a Sandin for Seider trade, but I think Sandin is still the better prospect for now.

I don't think either team does this. The Leafs would rather keep the more NHL ready Sandin, and the Sens have a much stronger LD side than their RD side, and as a rebuilding team can afford to wait on JBD to become the top 4 player he will be.

Sandin is also an elite prospect who would go top-10 in a 2018 redraft while Bernard-Docker wouldn't crack the top-25. (According to every single person that has ever done a 2018 Redraft.)

Sandin is miles better it's that simple.

JBD isn't as sexy a prospect because he isn't an OFD, but he's an incredibly underrated defensive prospect.

Sens don't need Sandin, they have Brannstrom and Chabot.

Doesn't change the fact that Sandin has top pairing potential (undisputedly) and is an elite prospect, while JBD does not.

No way the Leafs are going to trade a potential top pairing defenseman in Sandin. Were talking about the potential to be another Borge Salming or Nic Lidstrom and you just do not trade away those type of players.
