I think you can only get one third for Johnsson. And Ottawa probably wouldn’t take him, but there would be a team that would.

I am not sure there is a team willing to give up a 3rd this year for him. Most teams are tight against the cap and cannot afford to take on 3.4 million of cap. The few teams that can (such as Ottawa) are going to get much better offers from other teams looking to free up cap space. There is a reason almost every leaf post has this guy being traded, they know his value compared to his cap hit is not great. There might be more interest at the trade deadline by a contending team when the cap impact for the year is lessened, and a team is looking to shore up their bottom 6 for a playoff run. By then teams will have a better idea of how Johnsson bounces bad from the leg injury as well.
