Thats quite the trade for a 2C. Bigger return than Duchene. Bigger than Kadri. More than O’Reilly. Its on par with Karlsson (which in hind sight is a clear overpayment).

Suzuki and a couple picks seems more on par, perhaps with a roster player. For three prospects and 5 picks (1st, 2x2nd,2x3rd) - I’d want Gretzky.

Thats alot to give up but Hertl would be a beast on the Canes tho... such an underrated player.

That 2nd line would be insane... Hertl - Trocheck - Necas ... wow, I'm a HUGE GINORMOUS Necas fan, IMO the kid is going to be a star.

I'm a Hertl fan but that's a really big overpay.

I'm sure the Jets would make that trade.

Yeah that's a major overpay for Tomas Hertl, No way i'd give that much up for him.

This is a NHL 20 trade. Just throwing a bunch of picks to make the value there but it really still isnt there.

Once again, all you're doing is thinking the Canes will never give up anything significant for good players when in reality the Sharks would ask for Necas or tell you go away
