Everyone likes Eichel. They thing they dont like is the cost.

He costs Shesterkin and Kakko ir similar value and quality.

Ex. Fox + a 1st or two.

yeah this ain't it. Swap Kravtsov + 2nd for Kakko, Miller for Trouba. Chytil for Pajuniemi or Strome

Kakko + Trouba + Pajuniemi (or Strome) + 2021 1st for Eichel. It's even cap wise, and better for Rangers in terms of positional depth.

Add a few 2 more 1st's or Kratsov + Lundqvist and they accept. Also cut Strome and Trouba

To BUF:
Kakko
Lunqvist
Kratsov
2021 1st
2022 1st
2023 1st

That’s an easy no for BUF. It starts with Kakko and this years first not next year when you have the benefit of Eichel for the year and the pick is in the 20’s, then add at least 2 high quality pieces.

Couldn't agree more. It's like that kid from kindergarten that keeps trying to fit the square peg through the round hole.

I am just surprised no one has tried a deal with Boston ...... being from Mass and all.

Gotta think that would make Eichel happy lol.

I don't see how it's a very bad deal. It may need a bit more in terms of value, but he's not returning a McDavid haul. That's four first round picks and a second that can turn into fifth first round pick. Kravtsov, Miller, Chytil, those are all guys with top-6 upside or top-4 d upside. Sure, you can throw in another lottery ticket prospect, but that's up to BUF.

This was done for the year 2021-22, so next year.

Pajuniemi over Chytil? The Sabres would most certainly want a potential top-6 C with the speed and hands Chytil has over Pajuniemi. Pajuniemi has more developing to do, and even then he probably is still a bottom-6 forward. Strome going for cap purposes, fine, but like I told others, this is for 2021-22. This isn't for this offseason. The flat cap makes it basically impossible for this year. Trouba would have to be moved before the NMC kicks in because I doubt he goes to Buffalo. With the whole pause thing and his original NMC kicking in in July, I am not sure what the league plans to do with that knowing games will be going on into October.

About 98% of the Eichel trades on here are just ****ing terrible offers, I like how this one doesn't include a 2020 1st when the Rangers have two of them.. Lol, typical CapFriendly greed though so it's not surprising.

Really hope Botterill has a good offseason and plugs the holes the Sabres have, no reason to blow it up and do something stupid like trading an elite 1C.

Right that's point. Botts is trash at trading, he's already blown a 1C trade.. Most players don't want to go to Buffalo, heck Berglund would rather not play NHL hockey than play for the Sabres. Eichel is on the brink of formerly requesting a trade, once that happens a lot of your leverage is gone. You add all those factors together and you can take whatever appropriate "value" Eichel has in a trade and chop off like 30%.... that's about the return you're looking at. So you're looking at closer to Kakko + 1st + Pajuniemi/Strome + Trouba.
