My target is Foligno but he only got 1 year remaining and you'll have RFA Murray so Wild need to add

I wouldn't do Foligno 1-for-1. Murray has the Cups, but hasn't really been impressive in the regular season, and I have no interest in his next payday (he has the Cups so that'll raise his price imo). Foligno might only have 1 year left (and isn't anything special as a player) but was the heart and soul of the team last year. The Wild have been lacking that type of heart and soul for years.

So for 1 year of Foligno, you'll refuse maybe a starter for the future of the Wild ? Or when Kahkonen will be ready

Dude... wild take that and run. Pens get FLEECED. We’re not trading Murray for a 3rd/4th liner and a 2nd no thanks. He’d have a hard time cracking our team

I like both the other moves, but pens can do better for Murray. No point selling low

Yes. MN would then lose goalie KK (or Murray) to Seattle in the expansion draft. They really don't have much to chose from with the way the team is setup.

Goalie KK is ready for his shot at the NHL. He got a few games last year and was solid except for a few hiccups where he'd give up 2 goals really quick. But MN did that in a lot of games the first half of the season. It was weird: they play fine, give up a goal and forget how to play for the next 5 mins and give up 2 more goals, then play fine again.

They also have Robson and Jones coming behind goalie KK. Will any or all of them hit, maybe or maybe not?

I know there are a few Wild fans that are quietly hoping goalie KK takes the goalie spot and runs with it during this camp/playin/playoffs format.

Pretty sure Murray is 2X better than KK, but you never theses days ( Binnington, Merzlikins, etc )

Murray had a bad year this season but 53-19-11 a 2.67 gaa and .914 sv% in the regular season (including his down year) isnt impressive? Pens had all kinds of injuries this year and their defense was giving up chances left and right. Yeah, Jarry came in and played great but we even saw him fall off cause Pens weren't playing great in their own zone

Söderberg at 34 is not the answer at 3C. I don't like that whole 3rd line. It looks slow on paper on the ice it would be even slower.

Murray's RFA signing compensation would most likely be a 1st+3rd. (Based on contract $). While a trade would not necessarily be picks, the value would still be in that neighborhood.

Don’t forget Murray has had to play behind Jack Johnson who is a freaking pylon when he’s on the ice. Team giving up a ton of shots & scoring chances cuz of him.

Thing is McCann/Blueger can't win but 45/46% of draws. Geno is usually around 48%(50% this year) and Sid is 55% so the #3C Needs to be 52% at least so we don't get slaughtered in the dot.
