CHI passes. Andersen is a rental. Why is CHI sending away a 23 year old cost controlled center for a rental?

Andersen's stats were a little bit worse than last year in less games played, and his underlying analytics were pretty bad. Would be a little bit worried about his future performance and don't know if I would risk Strome for him

I think if that's Murray, pitts does it. But they probably want Jarry as their starter. And not sure chi wants that deal. Trade the 4th from our side. The last one is fine.

and after the first 18 games of Jarry's run he had a 0.901 sv%. Sorry. Rather have a goalie who has been good his entire career then one that is having a lucky season

That's Corey Crawford's stats last year, not Jarry's. I tend to think he's a proven commodity at this point. I'm just trying to make the point that there's ZERO reason to be trading away Crow for a rental that's worse than Crow.

But I do agree with you on Jarry. It's why I think the NYR's are a true dark horse in the playoffs this year....teams haven't had time to figure out Igor. AND teams will certainly gather more data on Jarry and we'll see how he adjusts, but he's certainly not a sure thing yet.

BUT i actually think (for a reasonable price of course) this would be a good move for PIT. JR has made his career off of putting (relatively) no name wingers next to Crosby and giving them careers.

Brutal trade for Chicago...not a chance that happens. Crow has been better then Andersen, no reason for us to acquire him and definitely not at the cost of a 50point 23 year old RFA center.
