Second Overall: Byfield
Third Overall: Raymond
Eleventh Overall (Trade Islanders pick plus two seconds to move up): Jack Quinn
Twenty Seventh Overall (Trade out second round pick (34OA) and another second and third): Seth Jarvis

I think it is important for Ottawa with so many picks this draft to move up when possible and get players that they target. The prospect pool has lots of quantity but now it is time to get quality
You could make an argument to use one of the first four picks on a deference but with this draft stacked in forwards and our defense pool much better then the forwards it is the perfect time to get as many A prospect forwards as possible.

And that's just absurd, he's one of the oldest players in the class, played on one of the two best offensive teams in the entire CHL, and is not as good of an all around player as most of the guys ahead of him

I agree that he may be the better prospect then Raymond but are they really going to use both picks on centers?

There's a bunch of players closely grouped together between like 23-45 who are all arguably 1st round talents, so I could certainly see a team being willing to trade down to grab several players in that range rather than one in the mid-to-late first.

That said, I don't think Ottawa would take 3 RW's in the first. Much smarter to spread out the talent a bit, BPA allowing of course. For example, I could see them trying to trade up from the NYI pick to grab Askarov between 12-15 if he's still there. That would likely make Ottawa's top 3 picks: the best C in the draft (Stutzle/Byfield), a top winger (eg. Raymond) or RHD (Drysdale), and a goalie (Askarov).
