trade them for stuff that makes the leafs better and need or dont trade them? A defender who is on his last legs as a top 4 guy that you will be forcing to play well above his station isnt what the leafs need, especially at the cost of shredding their forward depth

Dermott on his own is better, and worth far more then Demers. Kerfoot is overkill.

Trading for an aging defenseman who has an injury history and one year left on his contract is basically throwing Kerfoot and Dermott away.
