Certainly appreciate the thought, but zero chance this would happen. Even if Dallas would consider a deal involving their captain, retaining nearly half of his deal to play elsewhere just doesn't make sense, especially for future-based assets that would shift the window we're playing within pretty dramatically.

This just seems bad for both teams. Thats a lot of assets for a declining player with 5 years left, at the same time thats 5 years of 4M cap spent on nothing for a team that is competing now is horrible
