ROR a much better 2way center got less then 2 first round picks. Leagues top faceoff guy and ~60 point consistently. Package was two mid 6 players, B prospect, 1st and 2nd. NO chance Danault gets 2 firsts

Buffalo were complete morons, and the b prospect was two year removed of being a first rounder. Not saying we get two firsts but one **** first isn’t worth it to move him

I think i could get behind this trade.
Seems fair, would counter with a 2020 1st instead of 2021 but overall seems not bad.
We have a lot of promising young LD but 1 more wouldn't hurt

The biggest factor in if we can trade Petry will be if Juulsen comes back at 100% and picks up were he left off. Then Petry can be considered expendable otherwise we will be unable to move him since we lack depth on RD. Brook needs to rebound also from the tough year he had. I believe these 2 factors are the main reason Petry wasn't moved at the trade deadline

Guys, value might seems fair, but MTL decline big time here. We CAN’T trade Jeff Petry, he’s our best Dman with Weber and have no one to replace him RIGHT NOW. Danault is our 1st center, and he brings soooo much, but the truth is we NEED to keep the Tatar-Danault-Gallagher line together. Realistically Danault is worth a 1st + solid prospect if it cames with an extention, but Danault is too valuable for MTL right now. Heinola is good, but we already have Romanov Norlinder Struble and Harris with top4 upside + Mete who can be a solid 3rd pairing guy. Bergevin want to extend Petry because he realized Josh Brook need more time then expected and Fleury doesn’t have the offensive to be a top4. Only Juulsen can be close from top4 but with the injuries, we don’t know. We need to keep Petry and extend him this summer. If we are not in the playoffs comes the TDL, Danault AND Tatar can be trade. Trade both or keep both of them, keep the Tatar-Danault-Gallagher line

You're undervaluing him offensively, he had 41 5v5 points, 47 total in the shortened season, and he was 23rd among centers leaguewide in EV P/60...

When one of them is a legit 1C and comes with an extension, this isn't really close for him alone....
