This is, as in the title, purely hypothetical and for all of this to happen is almost impossible. However, if more than 60% of these things happen, the Habs could be the next dynasty.
Ik that this is incredibly unrealistic no need for those comments.
Forwards:
- KK and Zuks become the next elite 1-2 punch. ALMOST (key word) like Crosby-Malkin but still not even close to that level.
- The Habs win a Mantha OS and he continues to develop as he was before his injury. Possibly a 35 goal scorer and a good power forward to complement/protect Zuks and Caufield.
-Suzuki becomes an elite number 1 centre with amazing playmaking skills that could give him upwards of 60-65 assists and 80-90 points.
- Caufield becomes the elite scorer that he is projected to become. PP beast upwards of 50-60 goals.
- Domi returns to the 70 point player from last year and can stay in that range between 60-70 points.
- KK becomes an elite two way center as well and puts up 65-75 points as well as being a great shutdown center.
- Drouin returns to what he was at at the start of the season when he was playing great hockey. Anywhere between 25-30 goals and 50-60 points.
- Perfetti is taken by the Canadiens at 8ish in the draft (assuming we lose to the Pens) and in his rookie season, puts up decent numbers in the 35-40 point range while replacing what Tatar was on that line. Eventually becomes a 60-70 point scorer and 30-40 goal scorer.
- Danault continues to improve, maybe even blossoming into a Couturier type player. Takes a discount.
- Gally continues to be himself, without any injuries, and still has the same energy. Takes a pretty big discount but still I think he will take one irl.
- Poehling, Evans and Armia are very good 4th line that have the ability to contribute offensively regularly. Armia continues as he is rn, Poehling is still a good defensive player and Evans brings energy.
Defensemen:
- Krug leaves Boston in free agency and signs in MTL. Still plays as he does in BOS and can bring energy. Great puck mover, great skater. All around great player that complements Weber.
- Weber is still a good defensive dman that will intimidate forwards. Maybe not w the same speed as now but still effective on the PP and in the d zone.
- Romanov becomes an elite shutdown dman who can contribute offensively as well, much like Weber. Big clapper, intimidating, good hitter, very good defensively.
- Brook develops into a solid top 4 dman. Good two way player.
- Mete and Fleury are a good two way pairing. Mete finds his way offensively and Fleury uses his poise to contribute on both ends.
Goalies:
- Price returns to the dominant form he was at w/ good defense in front of him. Maybe around .910-920 SV%, under 2.50 GAA. Has a reduced work load, 45-50 starts.
- Primeau develops into a good starter that is working w/ Price to slowly take over the spot eventually. Maybe puts in 35-45 starts and puts up respectable numbers.

Dude you need to get ff the drugs? Mantha will be resigned way before he'd be an offer sheet candidate. And fat chance of Krug signing with that joke of a organization.

Buddy, it's a fun post where absolutely everything goes right. Do you actually need to start hurling insults. Go somewhere else and be negative, hockey is fun, let people have fun.
Now I figure Mantha is going to get around $7M. So I don't see adding $1.75M being a big problem. I don't think Detroit even considers letting Mantha go until you get up around $10M.
