Based on how the 3rd line performs and the defence can hold its own this is a good playoff team. Im a bit worried about the defence tho especially Montour-Risto

I think NSH passes. They need the picks more and could use that $3m better elsewhere I think. But I'm sure some team would pick him up, retained, for a couple of picks -- maybe not two 3rds though

San Jose need to go for the playoffs with the roster and contracts they have while their key players are still young enough. So I doubt they will trade Hertl even for that pick.

He cant make it happen. Say what you want about it being fair value but the sharks arent going to move Hertl until they are giving up

Yeah I agree with you; but Doug Wilson has painted himself into a corner with the contracts he's handed out, and there's no point doing half-measures at this stage and treading water for a few years. Either go all-in on a rebuild, or commit to making the team as good as you can right now.

Easy passes for Ana and Nas.

I assume Okposo is on LTIR for a CBO. Why wouldn't StL but out Steen and trade Allen to Ana. Not much more cap. Much better goalie. They keep their 11 and gain a 6th for a 7th. Can still re-sign Pietrangelo...

Dude stop with the lowball offers for Hertl. It isn’t going to happen. If any team wants him it will be an overpayment because Wilson has no intention to move him. He’s not on the block and I don’t see Hertl being on the block any time soon.

Wilson has already stated he intends to compete next year and be back in the playoffs. He said he will address the forwards and goaltending this offseason and moving Hertl is not going to happen for a team that wants to make the playoffs. Hertl is our second best player and probably the most popular player in SJ.

Why are we giving up so much for Anderson and Harrington? a 2nd would suffice for Anderson, we don't need Harrington. Also MoJo can get more than that, a 2nd at least. I'd rather move him to Nashville for Carrier and maybe a 4th

And why does Columbus make that trade? It’s not that great of a trade. Columbus getting a 2nd for a top 6 wing who isn’t going to sign for a year or 2 and a 7th Dman for an AHL goalie, and a LHD who’s about to sign a 2 year deal in the KHL... making him a UFA when/if he comes back.

It’s kinda like he’s a 2nd and some trash for your players... more of an NHL 20 type trade.

I cant for the life of me imagine a gm moving out all of his mistakes, let alone winning all of the trades in the process.
