this break may have helped toronto. they weren't having a "great" season no doubt and can put that losing and inconsistency behind them. if this team buys into keefes system, they can win a cup. its anyone cup this year pretty much except for a few teams.

CBJ also lost Panarin, Duchene, Dzingle, and Bob since last year and really only gained Nyquist. this is not the same CBJ team.

I think you are one of the smarter guys I have bumped into on CapFriendly. I really think this covid disrruption really favours a team like the Leafs with all their younger players who will be able to get up to speed faster and then handle the condensed finish to the season. Older players are really going to struggle in getting back up to speed and in shape to actually compete for the cup.

I think the Raptors just brought home a championship trophey for Toronto and more hardware coming soon from the Leafs.

I mean they went 1-2, winning the most recent game. They had a bad game against them in the middle of a losing streak and the other one was close. Leafs weren't perfect this year, a lot of inconsistency but they're primed to be the better team for many seasons and were still the better team this year
