It's a solid offer. If we were looking to go full rebuild and trying to bring a young roster through together, Nils Lundkvist would be fantastic addition. Not a huge fan of DeAngelo. I'd have taken Skjei before he was moved though.

Overall, I think I pass. I like Nils and the 1st round pick is really nice. I just would prefer something better than DeAngelo. What about Buch instead?

Buch + Andersson + Lundkvist + 1st (CAR) for Lindholm + Jones would work for me.

Doubt it. Moving both d-men from their first pair (Lindholm-Manson) at the same time just doesn't seem like a wise decision.

Fowler is an ok D-man. DeAngelo is essentially a 4th forward. Doesn't contribute much on his own end.

Yeah. I don't think Kreider works. Losing Fowler would decimate our LD. Thinking a little longer, we could always try and trade DeAngelo on for a pick. Like I said, it's a good offer and I appreciate the willingness to move Lundkvist. I'm 50-50 on the OP, which probably means it's fair.

IMO, Skjei was a top 4D being forced to play at a top pairing level because of NYR's weakness on the left side. For me at least, he is the LH version of 2019-2020 Manson. I think moving him into a lesser role behind Fowler could have worked, but we're kind of accepting the tank for a few years if we move out Lindholm anyway.
