Present time, I'd say the edge goes to Svech but its closer than anyone will admit. Nylander is criminally underrated on this site. "He's just a 60 point winger"
Mikheyev all the way
Necas is younger and cheaper
Barzal and this shouldn't have even been considered.
Slavin is better now but I don't think he will ever be as good as Doughty was in his prime.

Cause Barzal is a top flight #1 centre. Turbo is a secondary piece that is fitting in well with better players. He's very good, don't get me wrong but if you put him on a 3rd line, he may score 40 points. With Aho and Svech he gets 80 points. Put Barzal with 2 good players and he makes them 60 point players and gets 80 himself. Its not his fault that Trotz doesn't allow anyone to do anything except stand in the slot. Barzal is so much better than his stats suggest.
I still think the 1st one is very close but I also am aware that I am a huge Nylander fan. He's so much better than he's given credit for. The mob (general fans who don't really watch him much) have him billed as a lazy 1 way player who scores around 60 points a year. He's super underrated defensively and improved in so many ways this past season. I see him having over 70 points and 30 goals every year for the next 5 years and at least one year having a 40 goal 90+ point season. Especially if the rumour of Keefe putting him with Matthews and Marner for a super line come true.

Yeah both will have very good careers and put up great numbers!

I find that this site often puts people against each other and then people get way to emotionally caught up in their own bias. Is Svech better than Nylander? I think likely but at the same time, I think there will be years where Nylander out performs him by a good margin and other years where its the opposite. I think both are going to be or already are stars. Some fans will feel a need to defend their player and belittle others but the reality of the NHL is that there are a small group of players that are just better than everyone else. And then there is a lot of really good players and then bubble players. I think the difference between bubble players and good players isn't that big, which is why you sometimes get guys that come out of nowhere to have a few good seasons before falling off again. What you rarely see is someone going from good to elite and staying at that level. What guys like Svech and Nylander can do with talent alone just can't be taught. Which one is better doesn't really matter, they both are terrific, neither in anyway is light years ahead of the other.

spot on. Most of my time on this site is spent dealing with people who think that only their opinion is right and theres no other way around it. (example: @Caniac2000 ) xD
Svech, Mikheyev, Necas, Really close for now I will say Terravainen . Slavin by far lol

At this present time or who has more value?

in what world is Mikyalev better than Rust? its not even close lol

One good season where he shot at an 18% clip while getting top 6 minutes doesn't mean anything. Rust is a bottom 6 player. Mikheyev is both younger and has more tools.

Dude... he was a PPG. Rust has scored clutch playoff goals and was a key performer on a back to back championship team. Rust has improved his game a lot. Do I think he’s an elite 80 point winger? No. But he’s certainly a good top 6 forward. Mikayev has played 39 games. He’s not even close to rust

At least his contract isn't bad but his stats this year he'll never come close to matching. No one shoot 18% consistently.
