I’d be down for that tbh. Would you sub for wood for Seney? Just personal preference

Not a fan of the SJ trade. I understand that they want to get rid of MEV's contract but the only good player coming back is Butcher. The trade is essentially Lebanc, 2020 first (which they could use) and 2 B prospects for 6 million in cap space, Will Butcher and a 4th. That's not good for SJ at all.

HARD pass on the SJ trade, holy hell. Vlasic contract is top 5 worst in the NHL, even at 1M retained that's 6M x 6 years... Devils are just about to lose the bad contracts with Schneider, Subban, Zajac coming to an end soon. No interest in picking up another one for the next 6 YEARS.

Overpaid on the Ghostisbehere trade by a a lot, he was brutal last season and 2020 draft is loaded with great talent. NJ is going to get a significant piece for the future with that pick.

Leafs trade is fine I suppose.

Edmonton probably doesn't accept that.

I'd be happy with that return on Palmieri, can't complain with a 1st and a decent prospect.

Getting anything for John Hayden would be a win.

Vlasic's contract is one of the worst in NHL. NJ, while having cap space, could be in space for helping them in this regard.

Ofc if SJ considers keeping Vlasic's rotten contract is worth that amount of assets, they can keep it just fine.

They get pretty good price on it. Two good prospects and a 1st.

doesn't make a 6M x 6 year contract for a nothing player worth it, not even close. Hughes, Smith, Blackwood, Bratt, their 1st rounders this year will all be on big boy contracts within the next 3-6 years and NJ is hoping to be competitive by then. having a $6M anchor will make that difficult.
