I think 6×5.98 seems fair. That's the Bo Horvat contract adjusted for Cap inflation. Maybe Cirelli gets more than that? I think he's good enough that you want to go longer than 3 years.

IMO if you trade that much for him he's probably getting something similar to White. It isn't like theyre trying to stack up for a cup run this year and just renting the player. I think its something close to 6x6 - 6x7

I think trading Tierney in division is a bit different than Hoffman or Karlsson.

I think 6.5 is a start, remember he is coming from a market with no state income taxes, and a 5 yr deal is taking a yr of UFA from him so there are 2 premiums. Honestly if you got him in a trade I would try to give him a 3 yr deal, he gets paid if he underperforms you are tied in 2 more years not 4. But that’s just me. If you are wanting to buy UFA years I think you are looking at $7.5M. But I’m just a fan on a website😂
