Nah Pesce is good but ain't worth Nylander, Leafs don't have a player with the value that would be a 1 for 1 deal

Imo that's bad for Canes. Granted Nylander has more value in a vacuum but they will need Pesce more in a long run.

I think that Cirelli+ for Pesce is the trade that will more realistically be pursued by the FO. Toronto may be tight on cap numerically, but they don't really have a lot of key RFAs to sign outside of Mikheyev. I think that they're likely to agree to one-year bridge deals for guys like Dermott and Mikheyev and once again go light on depth until the cap goes up in another year.

The biggest problem here is having 18 Million dollars in the 3rd line alone

As of their current form Pesce is their only long-term NHL level RHD. Not to mention his contract is great.

In my opinion they shouldn't move him until they receive other long-term RHD.

Lol, Nylander is worth way more than Pesce. Hall for Larsson taught people nothing. Pesce is better than Larsson sure but he's not in anyway an elite player. Nylander looks like he very much is.

So now Faulk was terrible defensively? I know for certain you argued he was really good but was undone by Hannafin. Now its a different story. Your whole team plays a smothering system that limits shots against but it's only one guy who makes it happen on the ice. You don't understand how hockey works. When Pesce was put next to Faulk, both analyitically and visually you can see the difference.
