Get rid of Zuccarello and Foligno, add another high end prospect like Boldy and I think it's at least close, still might not be enough though. Not sure if Cirelli would be willing to sign an offer sheet and then be traded either.

If Cirelli were to sign that offer sheet and Brisebois took the picks, I'm pretty sure he can't be dealt at least for 1 year. That's stupid to offer sheet a player then deal them. Doubt Zuccarello would waive for Buffalo. Anyways Minnesota doesn't have what it takes to get Eichel out of Buffalo.

Yeah, i doubt any trade Buffalo would accept would include a player like Zuccarello. I just added him and Foligno to match the money, as well as thinking Buffalo fans like Foligno. If their GM is smart about making a trade it really should only be for younger, high potential guys and picks while being a stark overpayment, unless the situation devolves to where Eichel literally refuses to play, that is.

I hope Guerin does whatever it takes to get Eichel if he's made available for trade. I just fear we don't have the assets to get a deal done.

There isn't a trade to be made for Eichel without completely gutting and selling high on the Wild's U-25 roster, and even then it's quantity over quality trade.

Can’t trade an OS signie for a year (same goes for the team that matches it if they do). I don’t think MN has the assets but my guess is starting point Fiala, Kaprizov, and 2 1st rd picks.

There are limits on what I'd give up. Say Buf wanted Kaprizov, Fiala, JEE, and Kunin/Boldy, It's too much to give up and MN would just be the same as Buf's FWD group now.

Interesting, didn't know about the trade restriction there. And I agree, I doubt there's anything on the Wild's current roster that could make trade talks serious that wouldn't result in Eichel ending up with zero support down the road here in MN then...

I didn't word that the best, I meant within reason. I'd be fine if we traded one of Fiala or Kaprizov (probably rather trade Kaprizov since he's less proven), a good prospect or two, and both of our firsts, but that likely isn't enough anyways.

Kaprizov
Boldy
1st round pick (MIN)
Eriksson EK
Foligno

For

Eichel
Okposo (1,000,000 retained) ((otherwise the salary exchange is too lopsided and Minny can't ice a team... lol))

That’s an easy no for BUF imo, and I’m not a Sabre’s fan.

Fair. I made the trade and I would still decline
