Id rather have Pettersson. Its a bit of a gamble but his younger age makes it worthwhile. The future wins out in this.

I love Petty and Eichel...but Petty isn't as big and doesn't have the defense o think of Eichel. We shall see though🤷🏼‍♂️

Petey definitely will never be accused of being a bruiser, but his defensive game is already pretty damn good.

Id probably take Eichel as of now because he's very stellar defensively, but thats not to say Pettersson wont get there in a year or 2. Also Eichel is already locked up, who knows how much EP is gonna command, yadda yadda yadda. Its close. Both are franchise players. Looking forward to watching them for years to come.

I’d definitely rather have Pettersson. Eichel might be slightly better right now, but Petey is just so good.

I mean 2 years isnt the biggest difference, its not like Eichel is fully developed yet either

and there isnt a big difference between Eichel and Pettersson's performance so far either. Its why the age and those 2 extra years of development gives Petey the benefit of the doubt.
