The thing is that BUF actually have a say on what happens with Eichel.

If Matthews decides to walk after his contract expires, TOR is pretty much out of options.

Not saying that is happening though.

Sure if Eichel agrees to play all of the 6 years with Sabres, at which point Sabres should consider moving him just because he might abstain from playing. This assuming BUF keeps up with being a joke.
