Not enough probably. Add Kaprizov or Fiala, and one of our good forward prospect like Boldy, take away Miller, and that might get the Sabres to at least think about it. Eichel is a franchise center, it's going to take us backing up the brink truck to get him and I'm still not sure we have the assets to pull it off.

Thanks for your honesty. I figure if I strike Miller then they probably don't need Dumba due to the excess D-men. So let's say we strike Dumba and Miller. What if we add Khovanov and Boldy? Do you think we at least get into the conversation?

Easy pass. Buffalo doesn't add. Don't need Dumba. 3 high-end pieces (preferably including at least a current legitimate 2C), 2 1sts, plus a few wild cards is probably what you're looking at.

Ask me again if Eichel gets real toxic in the next year or two. Assuming he acts even a little like an adult, he's stuck in Buffalo for 5 years unless there's an overpay. But he's a Boston guy so he could blow up at any moment!

It's not so much a wanting out. He is quoted as saying he's not happy because he loses so much and is fed up with it. Unless I missed it, not once did it say that he "wants out" or demanded a trade. But the quote does look bad.

He had some revealing quotes in a presser. Nothing more than frustration at this point, but reading between the lines it sounds like he's not happy in Buffalo.

I think the only way we could make something work is a 3 way deal. Buffalo doesn't need Dumba (or even Brodin), so if we move one of them for something they would need (like a center) then maybe they bite. It'll still take a ton to get him though
