I think this is a little unfair, granted some fans are still holding him in way too high esteem but a lot of those players above had elements to their games that Bracco doesn't have which is why they got a look before he did. Bracco is a small playmaker and PP specialist, Marner, Nylander, Kapanen, etc are all more polished and have proven they can play at the NHL. When there has been holes open, they have been on the 3rd and 4th lines and TO was better served with guys who can work on the PK or offer some size and grit on the bottom 6.
With that said, I hope he gets traded for another prospect who is a longer shot or may need a change of scenery. I think he could still earn a decent career in the bigs but just won't be with TO. I don't really have anyone in mind I would trade him for, may even be something like a 4th rounder for him. But there are a lot of teams that could use what he offers on the PP. Just not Toronto.
