Not a huge fan of the Chicago trade from Pittsburgh’s perspective.

Not that the value isn't close but Chicago has a logjam at defense especially on the left side with prospects. I would suspect we'd want a different prospect.

Why? POJ still has more perceived upside than Nylander and Subban is a downgrade. Makes no sense from Pens’ POV or team needs. Why move a goalie for another goalie when we already have an extra

I personally don't like the CHI trade from the CHI perspective. I'd prefer to extend Crawford for a 1-2 year deal and figure out the long term solution later. CHI needs to keep their assets.

I don't think that Nylander and Subban get one of Murray or Joseph, much less both.

Subban is joe-average-backup that you can sign any of a dozen of, no need to give up an asset for.
Nylander is young and could go any direction. Barely scores, isn't physical, isn't defensive. He is really a 3rd liner potential (on a team that has any wings worth a dang). Nothing special at all.

I'll give them a 3rd for Nylander and they can keep Subban's rights.
