Teams dont generally run 20 man rosters for the entire season. It makes it hard to deal with non-serious injuries. You've got another ~1.4ish mil space to make.

Eat a little money on one of your goalies. Will get a better return as they will then be cheaper than any of the UFA backups. Nedlejkovic should be ready by now to backup.

Unfortunately you probably lose Bean to Seattle

Was thinking the Canes would leave Gardiner/Skjei open for Seattle. I didnt think Bean would be eligible for seattle ?

Yeah unfortunately he will be eligible to be selected. Maybe Skjei has a big year though and Seattle picks him. Either one sucks to lose but Skjei would free up a bunch of cap space for the Canes

If you’re going for Hall, I’d move McGinn and Mrazek for futures for some cap space. I feel like Toffoli would be a better fit and you wouldn’t have to move anybody. Hall is a very good player but I’m not sure he’s gonna be worth that fat next contract

I can see the canes paying a fee for them to take Skjei over Bean.

It would help them a lot with Cap space, and Obviously Bean still has a chance to become another elite Dman

If the Canes go for Hall, I think that Foegele and Fleury are both potentially dealt for picks and prospects. Foegele could get a late 1st from another contender IMO.
