You're probably right. I guess the hope would be that eventually Fiala and Kaprizov would be the line-drivers and Schmaltz is a good enough playmaker to feed them the puck, kinda like he did in Chicago with Kane and 'cat. If he can score at least 60 points, that's good enough for us I'd think. And he was on pace for 52 points this season so 60 should be a cake walk with better wingers.

Money and more of an opportunity. We obviously aren't as good of a team as Tampa, but he'd be our 1C and would play with two very promising young wingers in Fiala and Kaprizov. Maybe he doesn't want all that and only cares about winning a cup even by taking a big pay cut, but I think those things could be appealing to some players.

So's the one in Edmonton, But doubt he'd leave Tampa for Edmonton though.
