Edm looks at their better prospect. Then at their better pick. Then they look at Ott. Look back down again confused. They wonder what they are missing. "Why would they think I would ever do something like this?" they wonder. "Have I done something to deserve this treatment? No, it must be a mistake." He soon realizes the harsh truth. That it is not a mistake. Ott really wants them to do this deal. "Do you want my liver too?" Edm asks. "Whatever will get the deal done." Ott bellows. Edm decides between storming out and asking for Chabot and 7 firsts. They decide to leave. Blocking Ott's future calls on the way out.

Poolparty is worth an early 3rd at this point, maybe late 2nd at the best. Brown on the other hand is probably worth a late 1st to early 2nd. Lots of Sens fans on this site have given up on him but he's still one of our best forward prospects, some argue that he's the best.

As I've said a bunch before. Fans of a team involved in a trade just can't be reasonable. You're basically saying Brown is 3x better than Jesse based on picks. Even if that's oversimplifying no person on here should value your opinion on this matter. But you do you.

don't forget that ottawa second round will be 33 overall & edm pick will be late first. edm will move back a few spot, get another draft pick & will trade a prospect that wants to be trade for another really good prospect.

I'm not saying that Brown is better or worse, I'm just saying that he has more trade value than Poolparty. Ottawa has no incentive or need to move Brown, so teams would have to pay more to get him, whereas Puljujarvi isn't gonna play in Edmonton so they need to move him if they want to recover any value, and every other GM in the league knows that. Brown is also a centre which generally have more value than wingers.

Now that you mention it though, I would say that Brown is better. Poolparty had a ppg of 0.95 in Liiga (on the 1st place team, Karpat), whereas Brown had a ppg of 1.12 in the superior AHL (on the 6th place team, Belleville). Neither have found much success in the NHL but Brown has never had the chance to play with McDavid or Draisaitl...

Edm hangs up on you. They say call back when you wanna use his name. Very clear you're just trying to cause some issue about his name. Don't know why.

His name is Jesse Puljujarvi and his nickname is Poolparty because Puljujarvi is hard to spell. This is pretty commonly used...

Seems like you don't have an actual argument for Puljujarvi being better than Brown...

Logan Brown is 22, Logan Brown has not made a full time NHL roster. Logan Brown did not go to college or play overseas which would justify a late entry. The team Logan Brown failed to stay with has the most open spots in the league. Logan Brown has been scratched from games for poor play this season.

What Puljujarvi did overseas this season boosted his stock. Nobody uses that nickname other than you. Copy and paste is a thing if life is too hard for you.

Jesse Puljujarvi is 22 and not playing in the NHL either. Brown was scratched twice, and Puljujarvi was scratched plenty more times than that during his last season in the NHL. His play in Liiga slightly boosted his stock, but not all the way up to a 1st, not even close.

We'll probably never agree on his value until he proves one of us wrong, but as for the nickname, many people use it and I'm surprised you've never seen it used anywhere else. I took the first bunch of results on Google when I searched "Poolparty NHL:"

I agree about the wait and see on the players but obviously if you search for the nickname you're gonna find it. You're removing all other references to him. If there was a way to search forum discussions mentioning him and use % on how often that name gets used it's gonna be very close to zero.
