The Habs, NYR and Hawks are the only reason for this format. Find a way to get those TV ratings from those big ticket market.

Well I think the Rangers actually deserve to be there. The way they were playing down the stretch they may have made it. Could be a sleeper team really.

Habs and Hawks are in because mathematically they were still in it, even though they had no hope in hell of making it - especially the Hawks after moving Lehner . I throw Florida in that mix too, beaucse moving Trochek was throwing in the towel.

If this was really about TV, I think they would have tried to squeeze LA in. Glad they didn't.

Really think the Leafs are the darkhorse and are going to over achieve like the Blues last year and bring back the cup to Toronto.

I mean if they were to win any year it'd be the year that everyone puts an asterisk over the cup and people say it doesn't really count it lol

Bettman is a weasel, yet a good one. He's a smart money maker, NHL is on its way to cashing in on tv deal. Covid will hurt for a couple, maybe a few years.

Not sure people will look at them as a dark horse considering the roster is healthy (outside Johnsson) for the first time all year.
