Sabres definitely decline. No reason the Sabres want a very old Oshie on a very bad contract unless they can get him for practically nothing as a cap dump. Even then, probably not with the RFAs they have coming due.

Not to mention Panik is worse than Johansson and Montour is a young top 4 dman who we paid a 1st and guhle for. Oshie Is in regression, Panik is just bad and the 5th is a wash. Johansson is serviceable to us and can bring value and Hutton is ass but expiring. Montour should be re-signed by Buffalo tbh. Trade Miller.

Oshie's contract is on my list for potential CBO. One or two years would be fine, but five more years at $5.75M, when he is 36, 37, 38 is... rough.
