Plus Tierney ain't signing for 3.25Mx3. He's getting 40+ points a season with bad linemates. Add a 2nd and Mittelstadt than Ottawa accepts.

I didnt come up with it and it was receiving positive feed back, i dont have any say on it. Also he currently has 11 goals, had over 15 once, and is still just a 40 point player, he wont get much more. Also i know your bias also leads you to believe no on in Buffalo is ever worth anything, typical maple leafs fan, but youre just proving my point more

Who was giving you positive feedback? A Buffalo fan?

Tierney was playing with terrible linemates and still was close to a 50 point season... Miller was a healthy scratch...

Sabres had 9 nhl dmen, Miller had to sit so they could advertise the players they were trying to sell off, they gave that up in December and he started to be a solid regular for them, everyone has excuses.

I'd value Tierney as a high second round pick, Top 40 overall. I think the deal is fair value.

The Anderson is fair value, as of right now, he's worth a second and a prospect. However, if Anderson gets on track, he can easily fetch a first. But he is one of those players where what you will get in return will never truly equate the return because of his value to the team, and CBJ needs scoring. When he's healthy, he brings that. CBJ is likely to hold.

I would say the Ducks decline the Reinhart deal so i'd agree with Arlotti. Lundestrom breaks that trade as he is a huge part of their future. He's probably their second line center of the future. The Ducks are slowly building a very strong team down the middle with Lundestrom, Zegras, Steel, and Groulx, and I don't think the Ducks are moving the first three. Rakell has immense value by himself to contenders because of his cap hit and versatility, although some Buffalo fans may want him at center, he can play the position, thats not his best position, and we'd be asking for trouble by playing him there. He would still fetch a ton in return by himself

I disagree with the last point because with Comtois, Groulx, Terry, Tracey plus one of Marco Rossi, Lucas Raymond, or Cole Perfetti, with Steel, Jones, and Milano in the NHL already, thats 8 players that could fit that mold of a top 6 (top 9 even) Center or LW. Of those I think Lundestrom is the weakest link of the 8 and they end up with a 24 year old proven 60 point RW that will still be in his prime when Anaheim is good enough to compete

Lmfao yeah 42 point players should expect to make 5 million +. He’ll get a similar deal to Lars Eller.

Healthy scratch is such an idiotic way to evaluate players. Bura was a healthy scratch multiple times with Washington. He’s on a 60 point pace this year. Nate Schmidt also was a healthy scratch. Stephenson. Those are just Washington examples. lol those guys are all playing huge rules for their new teams.

Anaheim has the cap room to fit an extra 3 mill against it and Reinhart is better and younger than Rakell and has RFA status so he isnt walking in 2 years

If you want to trade Oshie for Montour be my guest but don't talk about players on teams you know nothing about.

I never said 5M.

Miller has 2 years left at a 4M cap hit and is a UFA not a young RFA so that point about being a healthy scratch is moot. The dude barely has any value after this season...

You said he’s not signing for that. Logic means you think he’s getting a solid amount more than the suggested price or why be so critical over 500-750k. I would say he’s making closer to the suggested price since the cap likely decreases 10%.

Tierney value is maybe a 2nd. Healthy scratches isn’t moot. It’s stupid way to evaluate player. Also need to take into consideration team depth. Without acknowledging other factors and assuming poor play is why it’s stupid. I don’t think Miller is great but to say he has no value is laughable. RHD always have value.

Don’t talk about teams I know nothing about? I simply said he’s getting paid a fair amount based on his points and Ice time. you are glorifying a player just get over yourself.

Sabres want no part of Oshei unless they get him for free (and maybe not even then). Too old and too much money and length.

I'd personally pass on Reinhart for 2 years of Rakell (who's nothing special) and a meh prospect but it's not a bad offer depending on how you feel about Lundestrom. I doubt Botterill would do it as it runs a significant risk of being Tage Thompson V2.0. Bridge Reinhart to UFA if you have to, trade him at a deadline. You probably get more than this.

I think Oshie is a Justin Williams type that will be good for 20+ goals for a couple of season, but mostly is there for locker room leadership, which the Sabres desperately lack. I'd want Lundestrom to grow into a 40-50 point 3C, and would rather have Rakell for 2 years at that cap hit and flip him at the deadline in 2 years than Reinhart for 2 years at double the cap hit, which is going to be harder to find a buyer especially as a UFA. Probably should just add more from Anaheim like a pick or 2

Didn't consider flipping Rakell so that makes it a bit easier to swallow. For a top 6 forward under team control, I'm looking for more than 2 years of a middle 6 forward and a B prospect with 3C upside. Add a 1st and I'm all for it but that might be an overpay for Anaheim. Deal structure is sound with a 1st but Anaheim might not be the right trading partner unless the pick is maybe 2022. More likely another team with a mid to late 1st round pick.
