Going by video game terms if Kappy is an 80 OV, Andersson is 82 and Nylander is an 86 the fact that Andersson plays a position that is much harder to acquire, it makes him more comparable to Nylander in terms of trade value. IMO.

You're reading too much into "starts with Nylander." What everyone is saying is that the basis for any trade involving Rasmus Andersson must include Nylander. Additional parts would have to be added because it's unlikely you could add something solely to Calgary's side that would make the deal acceptable to both sides.

If you're going to make a federal case over something, try to choose an issue more earth-shaking than what was in someone else's mind when he said "starts with Nylander."

K first I know Kapenan has been linked with Calgary for 2 years but they aint giving anderson for him. Best I could see is Liligren + Kapenan for Severson. Or if Dubas goes the prospect potential Route

Geekie + Mceowan and low pick for Kapenan. Carolina is full of centers and defensive depth so getting a proven 40point center for those 2 is fair as dubas will be trading based on potential. As geekie can become the leafs 3c and Mceowan can be the third pairing and if he does well like Holl did he can potentially be paired with Rielly.
