Lehner probably wants to be a starter. Harkins 2C?

Lehner won’t sign to be a backup and regardless we wouldn’t need him, Hellebuyck is going to play 60+ games and we really only need a cheap backup like Brossoit.

If Little is healthy, he’s 100% getting the 1st shot at 2C, Harkins would probably be 5th on the list after Little, Copp, Wheeler, and Roslovic.

I see a lot of WPG fans or WPG threads that have Little in the bottom-six for some reason. I know he missed most part of the season but isn't he the best option they have at 2C? And he is still good no

I guess it’s because ideally Little is our 3C, with someone like a Stastny at 2C. But realistically that’s not gonna happen, so Little is the best we have right now.

The lehner signing makes zero sense for either party

Laine needs a left shot center to feed him the puck, Harkins centered the top line on the moose before his call up I believe. Worth a look

Little is our second line center next year it was hypothetical. Maurice has said he'd like to see Harkins at center most likely on the 4th line to start

Yes hes still good, consider him between 2nd 3rd line on a contending team the issue is with laine, he and little have absolutely 0 chemistry. With Wheeler locked in the top line right side laine is on the 2nd line right side, thus alot of jets threads r focused to get a potential 2nd line c because of that and slot little on the 3rd line

Little has had little to no chemistry with Laine and Ehlers, that's why he ends up in the bottom 6. Honestly I would love it if Little was the 3C with Copp and Roslovic. He'd still get PK and PP minutes and be on the ice for big moments. Jets need to find that 2C (broken record). I like the idea of trying to promote from within. Copp would be my first option and maybe Harkins busts his ass the offseason, moves to Finland and develops insane chemistry with Ehlers and Laine? WHo knows? the guy has come along way.

It's fun to think that Harkins can make the jump to the 2C. I know, and take this at face value, that Harkins was the Mooses' Mark Scheifle. At least that's what Mitch Peacock called him.
