Although player the Arizona trade might be fair, the doubt if the Coyotes (or any team) wants to 11.4m tied up in goaltending. And to give up their second best Dman and top prospect....may not be the Arizona way.

Stone's a good 2nd-pairing defender, though displacing Daley to the 3rd pairing seems like a sub-optimal use of his talents. If you want to take on Stone, you could try 3rd pairing Daley-Schultz and have Cole be 7th defender; that would spread talent throughout the lineup, especially if other teams try to spread out scoring like the Penguins did during the playoffs. The problem with Pouliot to the Coyotes is that he has the potential to be a top-4 defenseman but won't ever get the opportunity behind OEL and Goligoski unless he plays on his off-hand, which is usually less than ideal.

As far as the goalie situation goes, I dunno if Jarry's NHL-ready yet. I think the eventual goal for now is still to trade away Fleury at some point and make Murray the goalie of the future.
