Would Tampa be tempted by a first-round pick? They are in a bad way as far as Salary cap is concerned.

Sabres are getting hit with a cap penalty because of bonuses, so theyre definitely not spending to the cap next year. They can do better than Goligoski for cheapr

They'd take it and then trade it for a bottom 6 player

If we're retaining $2m for Mojo, you need to get more than a 2nd (Boston gave up a 2nd and a 4th just a year ago for him as a rental)
Would rather offer Dillon $4m than trade for Goligoski.

Is Goligoski really better? He is 6 years older, and carries a hefty salary while not really being a complementary player to any of our RD. Dillon would be a much better fit and fill a void that this team is lacking, a big physical dman that always sticks up for his teammates.

I did read it and just disagree with it. Even if they signed Dillon for 3/$4m it's better than trading for Goligoski. Stick to the Leafs and let them continue to have zero defensive structure. Buffalo could just not trade for Goligoski and play Pilut and be set up better.

Ahahah. 3/4mil. Why would he take a discount with a **** team when he can get more with Winnipeg?
Lmfao leafs have better defense than you. Buffalo just overrates all their RH defenseman.
Pilut? Lol ok. You clearly know nothing

That's 3 years for $4m which is a raise and what does Winnipeg have to do with anything. With a flat cap not many guys that aren't stars will be getting huge raises.

If Toronto's d is so much better, why did the Leafs give up more goals and their d score less goals than Buffalo? All while having better goaltending.

Ahahahah. Ullmark had a better sv% than Andersen. That just proves you are just using useless info. Also, Andersen had a 0.897 sv% for 5v5 since Jan 1st.
So stop being an another annoying sabre fan trying to act smart. Not listening to your uneducated statements any further

Maybe Andersen would have a better SV% if he had a better d in front of him? Maybe you should grab Goligoski, I hear he's a pretty good dman. Or are you inferring that Ullmark is better than Andersen? Not sure where you're going with this.
Bottom line is that Dillon would be a better fit for Buffalo (and Toronto) than Goligoski would be. Neither team needs another offensive dman.
