PK is firmly in cap dump territory these days. He's a 9mil OFD who got out produced by Mark Borowiecki. Nobody is giving up assets for that.

Also there's no reason for Ottawa to trade Marcus Hogberg. He had a great rookie season as a Backup, and he's going to get a shot at being a full time NHL goalie next year. No reason for Ottawa to sign Crawford, and I doubt he would come here anyway.

Bobby is a better player, and a shorter contract. Bobby is off the books before his cap becomes an issue. Zaitsev is a long term headache
