Welcome aboard. Kapanen is a hot topic player and his value is pretty high. Murphy is fine but I think he's worth a lot to Chicago since their defense is about to retire. Chicago just doesn't seem like the team to move a Defensemen from and Kapanan plus a second is too much to pay. All the other offers are asking about Ellis, Manson, Montour and Savard mostly because I think they're actually to only places that can move a RD in the salary range Toronto can handle. I'm beginning to think Toronto defensemen ideas are basically tapped out until Toronto makes a deal.

Good first try, but as a Hawks fan I will pass. As mentioned, Chicago needs Murphy and I could see him sticking around beyond his current contract. I like the idea of acquiring Kapanen, but I’m not ready to give up on Nylander. I just don’t know if Kapanen is much of an upgrade.
