If Minn is trading a 1st and 4th for Montour why wouldn't they trade them for Cirelli???

Well how exactly do you plan to sign him? Based on this website you'll have 5.3 mil in cap space with 3 defenseman and 7 forwards. However notable RFAs are the aforementioned Cirelli, Cernak, and Sergachev. If the Sabres offered the 7th Overall for Cirelli I'd think they would at least ponder it; its not like he's a huge point producer at this point.

To be honest I was hunting for teams with 2 1sts who might need a Dman. Also the Wild pick is likely to be somewhere between 10 and 15 and the Pittsburgh pick is likely to be in the latter 20's

Cirelli is the number 1 priority, him first everyone else is next


Well we can't exactly pay him to be Ristolainen with better skating but less physicality....
