Its gonna take more than that to get rid of the turris contract especially if you're getting a couple solid players back

I think kyle would do great in a upcoming team like New Jersey kinda play the bozak roll for the leafs when they came up thats why i think new jersey would make this deal pretty easily

Wonder if Zajac has any desire to leave NJ at this point.

Definitely an interesting idea. Aside from getting rid of the Turris contract, it doesn't do much to improve the team short term. I don't see much difference in this lineup versus not making trades and resigning our current guys. This is also dependent on a cap increase, which seems unlikely.
