We're not talking about buying out 10 or even 20 mil. This is 60+ mil, and if Florida desperately needs to save money and really can't afford to pay him out, they would have to give up way more to convince a team to spot up 60M+

Why would Carolina have any interest in Fredrik Andersen? They already have Mrazek and Reimer and could sign Robin Lehner as a UFA. Doubt Carolina has any interest in Andersen

why would leafs want georgiev. Rangers overvalued him and Dubas said fine and got Campbell who despite only playing 5 games has been solid.

agreed. leafs probably shut the door on the georgiev trade after the campbell trade.

Dubas made the wrong decision though, georgiev is already better than andersen. the rest of the league doesn't know it yet though.

More crazy extension talk, in this case Anderson. Do you expect Leafs management to tell Anderson. "You're not wanted on our team any more. Now screw off and sign an extension with Carolina so we can trade you and get your sorry bum outta town. Oh, if you can't come to an agreement with the Canes, you're welcome back with the Leafs."
